How To Make It In America: SEASON 2!

Finally, a teaser for the second season of 'How To Make It In America'. I think this is one of those shows that HBO did good by, although sometimes, personally, I feel like it's a bit slept on. I enjoyed the first season, haven't watched all the episodes, but the ones I have watched kept me entertained, made me laugh, opened my eyes to some stuff that I do see actually go down in the streets. The streets are rough, but everyone wants to make it, whether it be book smart or street smart, we know which approach this show takes. As a side note, I think Cudi actually plays his part really well, despite some small criticism people stated that he wouldn't be able to act. Either way, I don't care, all the characters make the show for me. Season two, we in there!

Takashi Doing His Thing

Google tapped world renowned artist Takashi Murakami to help out in making the special banner for Google's search engine layout for the beginning of Summer on June 26th I believe? Regardless, Murakami is known for his signature trademark styles, also having collaborated extensively with Louis Vuitton on a collection a while back. The man is still pimping these days.

Adidas X BAPE for F/W '11

This is strictly for my fellow BAPE heads. I haven't copped BAPE in a long while since most of us know that the brand has fallen from where it once was and what it once stood for, although it does drop some crazy items from time to time as well, can't over look that neither. If you're interested, look up about these yourself. I'm definitely buying a pair to show love, and I need new kicks to rock as well.

I Got Brain

No literally, in my dissecting tray is a sheep brain, in the flesh. Taking anatomy & physiology at Medgar Evers College, holler. Looked at the ventricular system, pineal gland, part of the pituitary was there, cerebellum, etc. Would like to thank my professor Dr. Egwu, he keeps it real, teaches superbly, and teaches like no other, really! Wish I had him again for this summer class, darn. Still though, my current lab professor, Professor Jimoh (I don't know if he's a doctor, everyone just calls him professor...), is laid back and as challenging as well. Everyone, go and reach out toward your dreams!

La Familia Beckham

The Beckham family, looking solid and united as always. Now that is a great marriage celebrities should look at.

Japanese Brands, Word

With the passing of time comes new trends and styles and sometimes the old is brought back to life because, as I have personally seen, the new is not good enough. Like the picture above, Visvim's classic FBT Lhamo Folk, which has been revisited numerous times, being released in a new style for 2011. You can get them at cotwo's site head-porter.org. I recommend the site as it really is worth it, and for the items they have sometimes. And below, my hidden evil love, mastermind Japan. The Theater8 division of the brand collaborated with Playboy on a series of tees, all of which came out pretty cool and laid back.

Check all their inventory HERE.

Olivia WIlde

So I have heard you are a player type of female Olivia. True? I do not know, but you did just end your marriage quite recently. Whatever the case, I loved you in Tron, and here, you just look too damn gorgeous.

Finally, The Kidult Vandaling Supreme NYC Video

KIDULT vandalizing the Supreme NYC store, and gives his take on what art is considered, graffiti that is. Also, his message on promoting graffiti, and well knowingly its repercussions as well. By now he has garnered quite the attention, good and bad. Just leave the guy alone, let him do what he loves. No need to criticize him. I think it is cool that he is hitting up the known spots to get a message across. All these little kids on Hypebeast talking off. When one of them has an art degree of some sort, then maybe I will consider their opinion a bit more highly, until then, simply hating on the guy. Keep doing what you are doing KIDULT!

Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis

Sadly, embedding has been disabled by youtube, but either way, you should most definitely check out the entire series. "Between Two Ferns" places a celebrity against Zach in a one-on-one interview. As always, Zach leaves for a humorous moments, and in this particular episode Steve Carell is pitted against Zach, making for a great combo. Check the episode, along with the rest of them, HERE.

Bradley Cooper, Phil, Actor's Studio Graduate, Classic

So, he left Renee Zellweger (thank you lord), has completed The Hangover 2, is shooting a couple of movies now, and has been seen with Olivia Wilde a "numerous" times at events and such, although both parties deny anything anyway. His fluency in French has also given women orgasms all over the world. There is only one Bradley Cooper.

The Phenom

One of the futbol legends of our time, David Beckham. Love this man, because of his fashion taste, his elegance, his ethics, his loyalty to his family (especially when you're a celebrity), and of course, his ability to play a mean game of futbol. I'll be posting more of him and other celebrities I admire.

mastermind Japan F/W 2011 Preview

Here, mastermind Japan unveils their new collection, entitled "mindblow", for the coming seasons once the heat rays are finally gone and people can commence to wear black again, comfortably. The label being a personal favorite of mine, I have nothing but love for the pieces coming out. To keep in the elusiveness that is mastermind Japan, you can look more for yourself on the previews within the friendly Highsnobiety and through the pages of SENSE magazine. The fit pictured above is my personal favorite for the previews.

Prodigy X Supreme NYC

Here, Highsnobiety presents a video from skateboarding brand Supreme and their collaborative t-shirt efforts with Prodigy of Queensbridge bred duo group Mobb Deep. Did not really see this one coming but definitely a plus for Supreme tapping into the roots of Hip-Hop culture by teaming up with Prodigy. All that's left now is for H.N.I.C. 2 to come out.

The current ones were white leather, black leather, and the ones pictured above, biege suede. They just released one out today, brand spanking new, black suede. Make You Mine, Remixed by Fred Falke

A real great track to just sit back and lounge to, especially in these hot summer days. Unfortunately I'm back in College and my brother still has school until the 14th of this month I believe, so our posts may be very scattered, random, or very little overall. Apologies, but if I spot something cool I'll definitely post it up with the quickness.

Suit Yourself, by Hedi Slimane

Here is a collage of photos by the Dior God himself, Hedi Slimane. Using his unique approach to styling and photography on models, Slimane shows his creativity and shows time and time again why he is loved by so many, not solely for his role in the revolution of luxury house, Dior. Credit goes to the site titled "Fucking Young!" for having posted this. Check the link.

She's, Jodie, not, Jordie

Just a little bit of a flashback for quite some laughs. From the ABC Family network's television show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", here is a game they call Three-headed Broadway Star and they usually sing to an audience member or make due without one. In this case they used a participant, and it definitely proved to only make the game funnier. Why don't they bring this show back dammit?!?!

HAPPY BELATED MEMORIAL'S DAY TO EVERYONE!!!
