Truthfully, we just had another brief conversation

You sound so bored, or forced out of will to speak to me

It sucks, it hurts, it slows down time,

as I read every single digital word you've sent, hoping you had said more to keep a conversation going.

I know it may be me as well, not because I'm not trying to talk to you, clearly not that

But there is a bit of fear, anxiety, in what you may say

It feels as if sometimes what I say seems to be taken completely out of context and you then get frustrated

That's the last thing I would want to do right now, not that I even want to, honestly.

Waves of anger crashing into the bays, only to be subdued moments later by soothing voices.

Then all that echoes through the air is how much I love you.

And then I'm back in my own shoes once more, realizing that this is worth much more,

So much more.
